New production announcement: Biscuits For Breakfast at Hampstead Theatre

We are delighted to announce our return to stage after 3 years. Biscuits For Breakfast by Gareth Farr will run at Hampstead Theatre, London, from 05 May - 10 Jun 2023.

Co-executive director of Just Add Milk Productions, Liam McLaughlin, said, “This is a huge moment for our organisation. After 3 years away from the stage, we’re returning with a fantastic piece of new writing from the award-winning writer Gareth Farr. We’re excited to be producing again and to be opening at Hampstead Theatre is a fantastic opportunity to showcase the charity and the work we produce for working class voices”.

Gareth Farr is an award-winning writer for theatre and TV. His play Britannia Waves the Rules (Royal Exchange Manchester) won the Bruntwood Prize for Playwriting in 2011, toured twice, and has since been produced in Australia. His play The Quiet House was performed at Birmingham Rep and Park Theatre and was directed by Tessa Walker. Biscuits for Breakfast is Tessa Walker’s second collaboration with Gareth Farr, and she returns to Hampstead Theatre following her productions of Ravenscourt, Big Big Sky and The Glad Game Downstairs.
