David Tennant and Cush Jumbo’s Macbeth Heads to UK and US Cinemas

The highly acclaimed production of Macbeth, starring David Tennant and Cush Jumbo, will hit cinemas starting February 5, 2025. The film release is presented by Trafalgar Releasing in partnership with Donmar Warehouse, following its successful theatre run.

Trafalgar Releasing CEO, Marc Allenby, expressed excitement about extending Macbeth's reach to a wider audience, citing the importance of theatre productions for cinema box office success. Donmar Warehouse's artistic director, Tim Sheader, added that this innovative adaptation will now be accessible to thousands more viewers.

After a sold-out run at the Donmar Warehouse, Macbeth moved to the Harold Pinter Theatre in London, where it will continue its stage performances through December 14. The filmed version will feature the same stellar cast, including Tennant, Jumbo, Moyo Akandé, and many more.
