Just Add Milk Productions CIO & Just Add Milk Theatre Company Ltd – Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

By booking or attending a workshop, course, or event with Just Add Milk Productions CIO and Just Add Milk Theatre Company Ltd (hereafter referred to as JAM), you agree to comply with the following Terms and Conditions. These Terms apply to all users of our services, including but not limited to actors, workshop participants, and website visitors.

By continuing to use our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions.

2. Definitions

  • JAM: Refers collectively to Just Add Milk Productions CIO and Just Add Milk Theatre Company Ltd.

  • You: Refers to any individual using JAM’s services, including workshop attendees, course participants, and website users.

  • Content: Refers to all information, materials, and services provided by JAM, including workshop details, scripts, and other course-related materials.

  • Members: Refers to individuals participating in JAM services, including but not limited to workshops, courses, and free events.

3. Bookings and Payments

  • All bookings must be made through the JAM website.

  • Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place.

  • By making a payment, you agree to JAM’s Terms and Conditions.

  • Payments made via PayPal are subject to PayPal’s Terms and Conditions, which can be found on their website. JAM accepts no responsibility for issues arising from PayPal’s service.

4. Cancellation, Refund, and Transfer Policy

Workshops (Online and In-Person)

  • Workshop bookings are non-refundable.

  • If you provide at least 7 days’ notice (1 week) before the workshop date, JAM may attempt to resell your place. If successful, you will receive a refund minus a £7.50 administration fee.

  • Reselling is not guaranteed.

Courses (Multiple Sessions)

  • Course bookings are non-refundable.

  • You must provide at least 28 days’ notice (1 month) before the first session to request a refund.

  • If JAM successfully resells your place, you will receive a refund minus a £15 administration fee.

General Cancellation Terms

  • JAM does not offer credits, exchanges, or date swaps for workshops or courses

  • If you can no longer attend a JAM workshop, course or event, JAM does not offer credits, exchanges, or date swaps.

  • Bookings are non-transferable.

  • Special cases or multi-date workshops may have unique cancellation terms, which will be stated in the workshop description.

5. Workshop Conduct and Attendance

  • All participants must arrive on time. Latecomers may not be admitted.

  • JAM workshop leaders and facilitators reserve the right to remove any participant whose behaviour is deemed disruptive or detrimental to the workshop. No refunds will be issued in such cases.

  • Actors must have paid in full to attend any workshop, course, or event.

6. Casting Director Disclaimer

  • The presence of a Casting Director at a workshop or course is for educational purposes only.

  • Attendance does not guarantee or imply employment or auditions.

  • Workshops are not job interviews or auditions, in accordance with the Casting Directors’ Guild (CDG) guidelines.

7. Communication and Notifications

  • JAM will send workshop information, preparation materials, and updates via email.

  • Members agree to mark info@justaddmilkjam.com as a safe address to ensure delivery.

  • JAM is not responsible for missed emails due to spam filters or incorrect email settings.

8. Changes, Cancellations, and Force Majeure

  • JAM reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or change the date of a workshop or course due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to:

    • Industry commitments of facilitators or casting directors.

    • Venue issues or availability changes.

    • Force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, public calamities, strikes, civil commotions, or pandemics).

  • In cases of cancellation or rescheduling by JAM:

    • You will receive a full refund either in credit or cash.

    • No additional compensation will be offered.

9. Liability and Responsibility

  • JAM and the studio spaces it uses are not responsible for the loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings during workshops, courses, or events.

  • JAM is not liable for technical issues, service interruptions, or loss of service arising from third-party payment providers (e.g., PayPal).

  • JAM is not responsible for any professional outcomes resulting from participation in its workshops or courses.

10. Intellectual Property

  • All content and materials provided by JAM, including scripts, course materials, and workshop content, are the property of JAM or respective copyright holders.

  • You agree not to copy, distribute, or share JAM content with third parties without prior written consent.

  • All intellectual property rights are reserved.

11. Privacy and Data Protection

  • JAM handles all personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

  • By using JAM’s services, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information for administrative and marketing purposes.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law.

  • You and JAM agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

  • Your statutory rights are not affected.

13. Amendments and Updates

  • JAM reserves the right to amend or update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.

  • The latest version will be available on the JAM website.
