The Big JAM Event
The Big JAM Event is a brand new convention for actors.
🚨 EARLYBIRD TICKETS NOW AVAILABLE UNTIL 31ST DECEMBER
Open to all ages and spread over one day, the event is a chance for actors to come together and take part in various workshops and listen to keynote speeches about the creative industry.
Unlike other actors conventions, the day is focused on maximising your experience with industry professionals and includes 1 keynote speech and 2 acting workshops for you to take part in.

The Big JAM Acting Event details
Date: Saturday 12 April 2025
Location: ArtsEd, 14 Bath Rd, Chiswick, London W4 1LY
Morning Session / 10am-2pm
Keynote hosted by casting directors Sophie Holland & Faye Timby-Taylor
All actors are invited to take part in listening to the keynote and Q&A
Workshops hosted by Becky Rossmaur, Tom Payne, Jonny Boutwood and Lucy Jordan.
All actors will be assigned 2 workshops with 2 of the hosts. Workshop styles will vary - such as traditional casting workshops, scene studies, blind casting script reads
Afternoon Session / 2-6pm
Keynote hosted by Theatre producer Tom Hopkins and a Casting Director (TBC)
All actors are invited to take part in listening to the keynote and Q&A
Workshops hosted by Becky Rossmaur, Tom Payne, Jonny Boutwood and Lucy Jordan.
All actors will be assigned 2 workshops with 2 of the hosts. Workshop styles will vary - such as traditional casting workshops, scene studies, blind casting script reads
Actors are welcome to attend one or both sessions. There are multi-buy options available for actors who would like to attend both.
We reserve the right to change and alter the workshop and key note speech hosts taking part in the day.
On the day
We will have a small group of handpicked businesses that support and work with actors who can offer advice, discuss the industry and network with.
These businesses will not be permitted to sell goods in a ‘market’ style as with other conventions/expos. They will be available to help further your experience and career through advice, support and ideas.

Price
The cost of the event is £65. This gets you access to a keynote speech and 2 in-person workshops.
Young actors
Under 16s are welcome to attend but must be accompanied by an adult (who must also buy a ticket).
